The Outer Banks....I GET IT!
After moving to the Outer Banks, I managed the Travelodge Nags Head Beach Hotel in Kill Devil Hills for four years where I specialized in making people happy.
After graduating from ECU, I took over my families grocery business (Meyerâ?Ts Supermarket...founded in 1872) in Enfield, NC. While managing the supermarket, I founded and developed Carolina Cards, a Sportscard & Collectible Business. Carolina Cards became one of the nations leading trading card distributors during the Baseball Card Boom. While managing family members rental houses for over 30 years, I gained valuable experience in property management.
I have been married to my college sweetheart, Ann, for 32 years. We have two wonderful sons....Adam 28 (UNC Grad. living in Shanghai, China) & Alex 25 (ECU..Greenville, NC). Ann & I just fell in love with the Outer Banks. We love to go to go biking, boating, fishing, kayaking and to the beach. There is always something to do here, and we love all of the friendly outgoing people of the area. We also love to travel and have recently discovered SE Asia.
After coaching soccer in Rocky Mount for over 15 years and volunteering for many local charities and fundraisers, I have continued to enjoy volunteering my time in the OBX. I really enjoy dealing with people and have recently volunteered at the OBX Seafood Festival, OBX Marathon and am currently helping coach an OBX Storm Soccer Team.
Ann & I recently bought our own Outer Banks Dream house I and will be happy to pass on our experiences (good and bad) with all of my clients. Let this Customer Service Professional help make the process of buying or selling your home an easy one.I GET IT!!! ............. and you can too!
My father once told me that he gets more enjoyment out of helping others than he does in doing something for himself.......After being in the customer service business and volunteering my time to help others.........I GET IT!!!
